RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board has released an online recruitment notice mentioning of 4660 Vacancies in the Railway Department. Railway Protection Force Recruitment 2024

Lakhs of aspirtants who were waiting for the RPF vacancies for the year 2024, good news for them as the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has finaly released the notification for recruitment of 452 Sub-Inspectors and 4208 Constanbles in the department. And the Job Location will be Pan India.

Name of the Post:

1) Sub-Inspector (452 Vacancies)

Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

Salary: Rs 35,400/- per month (initial pay)

Age Details: 20-28 years

Medical Standard: B-1

2) Constable (4208 Vacancies)

Qualification: Candidates should be 10th pass or equivilant from recognized Board by the Govt of India.

Salary: Rs 21,700/- per month (initial pay)

Age Details: 18-28 years

Medical Standard: B-1

Note: Out of 4660 mentioned post 15% seats are reserved for women

Application Fees

General and OBC: Rs 500/-

SC/ ST/ Female/ Ex Servicemen/ EBC: Rs 250/-

RPF 2024 Recruitment Selection Process

The candidates who will submit the online application will have to go through multiple tests for getting the appointment. And for both the posts the test is almost the same. Check the details

1) Computer Based Test (CBT): As we all of us are aware the RRB for any post conducts a CBT, that comprises of 120 questions and the total marks is also 120. And like all other this exam will also include negative marking (as per the rule).

2) Physical Test: As the mentioned posts is under the Police department, staying physically fit is important. The second test will analyse the phycial fitness of the candidats who have passed the computer test. 

The test will include various mutiple activities. They are

For Constable

a) 1600 m run: Male- 5 Min and 45 sec, Female- NIL

b) 800 m run: Male- NIL, Female- 3 Min and 40 sec

c) Long Jump: Male- 14 ft, Female- 9 Feet

d) High Jump: Male- 4 ft, Female- 3 Feet

For Sub-Inspector

a) 1600 m run: Male- 6 min and 30 sec, Female- NIL

b) 800 m run: Male- NIL, Female- 4 Min

c) Long Jump: Male- 4 ft, Female- 9 ft 

d) High Jump: Male- 3 ft and 9 inch, Female- 3 ft

3) Document Verification: Candidates after both the test mentioned above will then have to provide there orginial documents for verification.

4) Medical Examination: After the document verification candidates will have to go through medical examination as per the rules.
