The authorities of the University are inviting applicants for filling up of 3 contractual posts. They are Research Assistant and Field Investigators posts. Posts Name:

1) Research Assistant (1 Post)


Qualification: Ph.D/ M.Phil/ Post Graduate in Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks


Salary: Rs 37,000/- per month


Duration: 1 Year


2) Field Investigators (2 Post)


Qualification: Post Graduate in Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks


Salary: Rs 20,000/- per month


Duration: 6 Months


Preferable Candidates


1) Good Communication skills in Bengali, Assamese language (writting, speaking and reading)


2) Knowledge of Assamese Literature


3) Willing to travel throughout Assam


Job Desciption: The Project Assistant shall be required to review literatures, read archival materials, newspapers, journal articles etc. Any other work related to the project. 


The Filed Investigators will have to travel and interview people at specific locations identified by the Project Director. One of the Field Investigators should be well versed in Assamese language and the other in Bengali language.
