The BTR Forest Department through Central Selection Board (CSB) is inviting eligible canidates of BTR region for applying for the post of Forester and Forester. The total vacancy for the post of Forester is 84 and the total vacany for the post of Forest Guard is 330.

Name of the Post: Forester (84 Posts)
Qualification and Physical Standard: The candidate should hold a Bachelors Degree in any stream from a recognized institution.
Salary: Rs 14,000/- 49,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs 6,200/-
Age Limit- The candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 25 years
Reservation- OBC: 3 Years, SC/ST: 5 Years

Selection Process/ Examination of BTC Forest Department Recruitment 2024
1. For Forester post, there will be a written exam of 100 marks for 3 hours that will include General Knowledege, General Englis and General Mathematics of HS level.
And for Forest Gaurd the exam will include General English, General Knowledge and General Mathematics of HSLC Level.
2. After the written exam there will be a physical examination that will include walking for 26 Kms for Male canidates and walking for 16 Kms for female canidadates within 4 hours. And medical test.
3. The final round will include Viva or Interview test
Note: No TA/DA bill will be given to the candidates who will come for the examination
How to fill-up the offline application For BTC Forest Recruitment 2024
1. The candidates who are willing to apply are requested to submit an offline application form to the Central Selection Board. You will find the link of the form below.
2. Along with the form candidates are requested to submit a xerox copies of all the required testimonials along with 2 recent passport size photographes.
3. The canidates are requested to pay a Tresury Challan to the Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs 150/- for General/ OBC/MOBC category candidates and Rs 100/- for SC/ST category candidates.
The Challan should be paid in favour of PRINCIPAL SECRATARY, BTC. The challan is payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head Account- 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC. And in case of IPO the challan must be paid in favour of the Member Secratary, CSB, Kokrajhar payable at Kokrajhar Head Post Office.
